2. After ankle surgery, he went to the Architech Sports and Physical Therapy clinic in his hometown of Charlotte, North Carolina. He met local trainer Brandon Payne and the two have worked together since in developing innovative training strategies.

3. When Curry couldn’t stand, Payne gave him drills to improve ball-handling while sitting down. Afterwards, Payne helped him create space off the dribble so that Curry could make 3-pointers unassisted by his teammates. These set him up for a great comeback.

16. In 2011, Curry participated in the Skills Challenge of the All-Star Weekend in Los Angeles. Players must shoot, dribble, and pass with speed and precision along a course. Curry went against Russel Westbrook in the final match and won the title.
